Our Annual Gadget Night is around the corner! We look forward to seeing you face to face at this popular event where members are given the floor to share their favorite gadget! Gadgets can be an item you purchased or made, a concept or idea – just about anything you’d like to share about your astronomy setup that may help or inspire fellow members. We want to be sure there’s time for everyone to present because we also kick off the SDAA BOD Election that evening, so please send your info to Bee at [email protected] by Sunday, 11/17/24. Please include a description of the item (or concept/idea) you are bringing and how long (5-10 minutes max) your presentation will be.

Parking Guide for Green Acre – Treehouse Foyer
10300 Campus Point Drive
San Diego, CA 92121
Continue driving on Campus Point Drive until you see the directional sign for “Green Acre”. Turn left towards Green Acre, you’ll pass Eli Lilly on your left.
Upon entering the roundabout, don’t go straight through, instead take the right-hand driveway to enter the parking lot in front of UC San Diego Medical Systems (yellow hash marks on map).
Enter the building through the large glass doors (Red Star on map) to the left of UC San Diego Medical Systems.
Follow the directional signs to Green Acre inside the entrance.
***If attending the 7PM meeting only, follow event signs to the elevator that will take you up to the Treehouse Foyer on the second floor.
***If arriving early to attend Green Acre Happy Hour (3PM to 7PM), walk past the elevator and continue straight to Green Acre Restaurant.
